Our Queen is much more beautiful than the image on this coin. How insulting.

Our head of state costs less per person that most other country's elected persons who are always embroiled in scandals. Those who go on about them being unelected letches are such bores,   this grey old country is made brighter by our Royal family.

I think before people knock the royal family and say what a waste of money they are , they should look how much money they generate in this country when the tourist come and visit our Great nation.........Billions.......... and im sure that out weighs the thousands we spend keeping them......We have hundreds of years of history and we should be proud that.

A COMMEMORATIVE coin is to be kept to remember the occasion by...not spent. Thats why the royal mint have them and thats the whole point of them.

This will be an occasion that may never be reached again in my lifetime unless William hurries up and makes it on the throne. It will be a joyeous occasion, and i will be in london to see it all :)

Im not a royalist but i think its an occasion that needs celebrating :)

i for one will be purchasing the new £5 coin.  I have over the years collected a fair few of £5 and other coins of interest. these will be left to my children/grandchildren/ and now my great grandchildren, who i hope will keep them as keepsakes  for years to come. I prefer to live with our royal family (some) who do a good job rather than  live under the likes of mugabe/ gadaffi  and the likes of them  who suppress peoples wills by domination. at least we can be open about our likes and dislikes in this country with all its faults, unlike  other parts of the world

WHAT A BLOODY AWFUL PROFILE OF A WONDERFUL LADY. MAKES HER LOOK LIKE A BULLDOG CHEWING A WASP. WHOEVER THE "ARTIST" IS THAT CREATED THIS AFFRONTERY HE SHOULD BE LOCKED IN THE TOWER UNTIL HIS HEAD IS LOPPED ORF. IT'S AN INSULT TO OUR QUEEN.

Anyone who believes this is not a real likeness of Her Majesty should watch scenes of her at Royal Ascot, especially when her horse loses.

She is an elderly Lady, who has and continues to work for most of her life. How many of you believe they would look that good in their middle 80’s?

As for the comment about having coins in place of notes, I would rather have 20 £5 notes in my wallet than 20 £5 coins in my pocket any day.

If you want to complain about something, why not aim your attention into the decline of the Queens English, more and more people who should have listened at school are pronouncing the letter ‘H’ (Aitch) as (Haitch).

It makes you appear as thick and illiterate as those you condemn for ‘Not spoking proberly, an dissing U’…

What next!, are we to address The Queen as, ‘ Er Majusty Da Quean’ ?????

Your never going  to see one anyway, what's the point? i like the Queen, she's one cool cat. Please do something better for us to remember her, like an all day weekend bender, were everyone's invited to Beckenham palace, or a **** up at ball morale.
