We reveal some of the most valuable records

My wife has an 'almost-new' white-Beatles stereo album - with the poster inserts intact in their original folds. - Reading the MSN values we 'leapt' [ well staggered ] for the cupboard to find that Her sleeve is of the embossed version, in quite good condition [ for 40 yr-old ] but is un-numbered.....  The records have been played but are unscratched - could do with a 'clean-up'.

Any views of the 'value' as stated ? ?  She has visions of a new-car - I'd settle for a bicycle but, it's her record..... 'a-musical'  Dave

nfortunately, all these records are only worth the valuations if they & the cover are in pristeen condition. Even the slightest scratch or dog-eared edge will devalue it massively. So if it's not perfect, don't get your hopes up too high.......

I have a Elvis vinyl LP in pink played only onec been trying to see if that was worth anything?

I have a copy of a record - 12 inch - by the Shadows. It is vinyl and has two tacks on only one side that run simultaneously to each other. I does mean that when the stylus goes onto the record it will perhaps pick the same track up each time and you would never hear the other track. The tracks are "Theme from the Deer Hunter" and "Don"t Cry For Me Argentina" issued by EMI.

I bought the record in a store in Holland a few years back. I have not seen this type of record listed for value purposes.

I am delighted to say that I have none of these sleeves and have never had any.

There can be nothing worse than knowing that you had something valuable and gave it away, probably to some twit who delivered it on to the bin.

(I took a specially ordered black sleeved copy of Genesis's "From Genesis to Revelation" (IN MONO) to Russia once.

Still, you can't hold on to everything.
