The taxman says three and a half million people are due a refund, but two million will have to fork out for underpaid tax.
Gary Lineker - lots
Known for football, sports presenting and endlessly advertising crisps, there's plenty of press speculation about how much Lineker earns from the BBC.
The Beeb doesn't have to publish individual salaries but it's widely believed Lineker earns over £1 million a year for his BBC football reporting.
His celebrated Olympic commentary could mean he's secure in his job for a good many years yet.

For all those who are moaning about the rewards that the ath;etes may get after the Olympics:
So you would expect Victoria Pendleton to pay back £3M back?
Where do you people come from, lala land?
The athletes are as entitled as anyone to make money from their success, they are the ones who have to train long hours, deny themselves a normal life in the HOPE and I use that word advisedly, that they MAY win a medal in a major sporting event!
So! Millions made by some athletes, the winners and some who are marketable - read GOOD LOOKING - millions made by TV channels via advertising. Balanced by those who made zip - or a loss - well that is life. And sometimes that is difficult to accept.
But the rub is : The National lottery was raided to the tune of £450 million to help fund the games. A fund meant for deserving causes, not financial gain for multi-nationals. When will the funds be replaced - plus interest!
The funds that could have made some athletes preparations more proffessional.
The funds that could be used to help returning BRITISH service men injured in the conflict, rather than line the pockets of business.
The funds could be used for the cash strapped hospitals. So rather than have cancer charities advertise on TV, lets have some more National lottery money invested in British medical causes.
It doesn't matter if they earn good money or not after the olympics, they all deserve it for the hard work and dedication it must take to be the best in the world.
The over paid, under worked, prima donna footballers need to take note and try working for a living or going without and then people might have more respect for them. It's about time their pay was capped and fed back into the game to help the smaller clubs and supporters
Go Victoria & co and best of luck for Rio!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have read all your comments ! If companies and people are willing to kick in with any sought
of rewards pehaps thats the way it should be . . . But just a cotton picking minute ! As anyone
out there thought of those who tried and did'nt get a medal and all that goes with.
I suggest that the athletes that do get those high rewards set up funds for those that often help
the top ones win (as in cycling) so they can enjoy some of the big kick backs that those at the top
This will show how really good sports those at the top really are !
