Being such a lazy sheet this would be ideal for night fishing from the breakfast table.

yes Mandy I know the aquarium and living in this cottage would be just like being in a fish tank.

looks a bit like Stirling castle  I could raise Saint Andrews cross on it and say Bruce Captured it what about that  a bit of Scotland in England Smile

Looking at the estate agents web site, this is the cheap end of their properties for sale!

Looks ok, but what happens when the bits of rock start to fall off?

AT only £1million it's quite a buy. The suspension bridge looks really solid. Check it out for yourself.........http://lillicrapchilcott.com/PropertyDetail.asp?id=4465

id love to buy that house, i spent many a summer playing in the pool in the rocks below it  as a kid (the light blue water you can see at the front is sort of a stone swimming pool if you will, it was usually warmer than the sea!) i was always somewhat envious of the people who lived there

How do you get the bed across the bridge? The double fridge frezzer may also pose a problem, worse still what if the posties afraid of heights?

This house is built on granite, it would take hundreds upon hundreds of years to erode... seriously, some people are pretty dumb!

Moving day would be fun! Can't say I would relish carrying my furniture over that bridge! Surprised

Bit of a rip off considering that it doesn't even come with a drive.  Then again in 20 years time with all the global warming and rising tides you can park your boat outside.  Sorted.

I think the decor inside the cottage is making the island cost more, but its a really nice cottage in a subtle and remote area

I was going to say that Mandy, you would have to keep those trees and bushes high if you want any privacy. When the tide is out you will be surrounded by thousands of drunks all urinating over the base of the rock.
