Since the downturn, property prices have sprung back in some areas and fallen even further in others. That means the cheapest home for sale in Kensington could easily be 10 times the price of the cheapest home in Belfast.

We chose 10 locations across the UK and found one of the cheapest homes for sale there right now. We’ve discounted retirement apartments, specialist student accommodation, part-ownerships and temporary homes like caravans. We’ve also not included properties that are to be auctioned, as the prices could rise.

The value of homes across the UK really varies, and these homes show the startling difference in prices…

As MSN only see fit to allow us to comment on their selected articles, I wish to use this opportunity to express my disgust at the coverage of the trial regarding the brutal slaying of Lee Rigby, who was walking our streets as a civilian.
To give any kind of platform to the views and opinions of his two murderers is outrageous. The trial is completely unnecessary - their guilt is obvious and needs no further proof than their insane rantings. The plea of not guilty to murder is ridiculous and is only serving to cause heartbreak and suffering to Lee Rigby's family and angry outrage from us decent citizens. Lee Rigby's murder was an act of outrageous primitive savagery and should be condemned by every right minded person in a civilised society.  I can't believe the coverage being given without condemnation of such an atrocity. The fact that the accused being quoted has no relationship with the decent values of our U.K. society is a cause for real concern. How many others are amongst us harbouring such hatred? People who do not support the civilised, tolerant values of our society have no right to be here.

queues outside food banks, people having to decide on heat or food, no hospital beds, 2hrs wait at A&E in an ambulance. Britain in 2013. Bastard politicians giving themselves 11% pay rise.

well beauty indeed is in the eye of the beholder ! but as for mr james im glad you can afford to be so choosy many are not and would be glad of any of the asaid properties we are not all fortunate in life and before comments should be remembered so and yes Britain as a whole is most certainly a sad state of affairs we seem to be going back in time when all else are moving forward especially in housing schemes no government and I mean no government is interested in fixing a very social problem they are all to busy getting rich for themselves and councils are run by clueless people and im being kind here with my words pull down dilapidated out of date buildings and bring us into the 21st century and stop us living in Victoriana .

As the country slides ever more into poverty...a total of 12.3 million people are now living below the wage limit defining poverty, over a hundred people a day are applying for some kind of housing benefit..the total cost to the taxpayer is now £12 billion a year in housing benefits.. yet.we have this idiot Cameron going around the world extolling how great the UK is...on his recent visit to China, he boasted about the great trade deals..in fact the only thing we have to sell to China is Pigs Semen, and now Pig's Trotters..and other animal offal, plus our old scrap metal and plastic..now this idiot is in South Africa for old Mandia's funeral..he is only there to get the black vote back in the UK..he will be back of to India shortly grovelling and apologising for some distant injustice to the Indians, again to get the Asian vote in the UK...meanwhile back in the UK, I see my local supermarket has now a permanent Food Bank in the entrance...

Its no good all you people beating your chests as had been said. 'The people get the government they voted for.' Every one is on the take.If a Politian promises you something then some one has to pay for it, namely you the voter!!

Be interesting to know a bit more about these properties. The flat in the Birmingham tower block looks like ex-council and they tend to come with a lot of hidden extras. Where I used to live many of the tower block flats had to be sold back to the council after the owners found they couldn't afford to pay for mandatory repairs that all the people who were still tenants got done for free.

I live in rural Norfolk now and property round here is still sensibly priced. You wouldn't dream of having to shell out £135K for a studio flat - that sort of money would buy a three-bed bungalow with a large garden. In fact you could buy a two-bed bungalow with a decent sized garden for £65K.

People get paid in order to deliver their promises, i.e. making the economy stable and uphold health care, wages etc. the only good thing these politicians are good at is finding us with same promises but put in a different context around Election Day.

Most off these places look as if they near knocking down and rebuilding.  Instead of putting all the immigrants in a £125,00 and night Hotel why not put them in places like these.  If they want to live her then beggers can not be choosers.  Until this Government is thrown out (which will not be long now) they are to frightened to go against the unelected EMP's our own people will have to put up
with taking these small run down places.  The places today are like rabbit hutches and you cannot even swing a cat around the rooms, they are more like cupboards. How house cost less than these
on show and has 4 Beds 2 toilets, a wet room and really large lounge and kitchen.  What more can I say.

These properties are great.

Imagine, you'd have enough money left over for the constant supply of heroine you'd need to make your short, miserable life worth living.

What a splendid antidote to hard work and aspiration. I for one, feel inspired!

time for the people of this country to stand up to the government and say NO to the 11 % pay rise and that they are there to serve the people and not for the people to serve them. Come on citizens its time to organise ourselves and to run the country the country our way and not the way E.U DICTATES the way we should. Close the borders and stop immigration, stop all overseas aid and sort our own people out, how many of our poor souls are going to be in poverty again this year. Charity given to India, and they have just spent so many billions sending a rocket up in space. COME ON PEOPLE LETS GET ORGANISED
